Bearspaw Residence is a custom home near Calgary, designed for a tree-lined setting where the home needed to feel polished without feeling cold. Steep gables create a varied roofline, while white stucco, charcoal siding, and textured stone give the exterior depth and contrast.

The entry is framed by a sculptural stone surround, creating a clear sense of arrival from the drive. Large windows are placed to bring daylight into the home while maintaining a connection to the surrounding greenery. The garage is worked into the composition so the practical needs of the home do not overpower the front elevation.
